Savannah St. Patrick's Day Parade

This year's Parade, the 186th edition, will take place on Wednesday, March 17th. In honor of St. Patrick's dedication to Christianity, we will start the day with the celebration of Mass at the beautiful Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. The Parade will step off at 10:15 am. It is expected that over 400,000 people will visit Savannah to help celebrate the second largest St. Patrick's Day Parade in the United States.

Stay in Port Wentworth and take advantage of the "Skip the Traffic, Take the Trolley Promotion" this year. The Port Wentworth Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center will provide a trolley service into Savannah from the Exit 109 area. Here are the details.

When: Wednesday, March 17th
Trolley Shuttle Service: Trolleys will depart/arrive every 30 minutes beginning at 8:00am and ending at 4:00pm Shuttle stops: Food Lion Shopping Plaza and participating Exit 109 hotels. Cost: Adults 18+ $20.00, 6-17 $10.00, 5 & Under Free
